Early to the mid-Edo Period (17th/18th Century)
The Armor comprising a dark brownish black-lacquered iron Hineno Zunari Kabuto from the late 17th century which is decorated with embossed (Uchidashi) eyebrows (Mayu) and triple wrinkle rivets (Miage Shiwa) on the Mabizashi.
The Cuirass (Go-Mai Yokohagi Okegawa Hatomune dō Gusoku) with horizontally placed plates (rows of individual scales) in the shape of waves (Hira Yamamichi), riveted together with small flower rivets made out of copper and fitted with five sets of five-plated Kiritsuke Kozane Kusazuri laced in blueish dark green and blue.
Some parts of the cuirass like the Muna ita or the Oshitsuka no ita are lacquered in black. The Do and the Gyoyo are decorated with a sixfold gilded tomoe crest.
The matching big Sode (shoulder guards) each made of seven Kiritsuke Kozane plates also laced in dark blueish-green and decorated with very fine works of several Kanemono.
